This rebounder is easy to set up, sturdy, quiet. I LOVED that the cords were already installed so I didn't have to hurt my hands putting them in place. I was 225 when I got this & it supported me very well. If I bounced SUPER hard I would touch the ground but never felt it was going to break or snap. Since learning some actual rebounding exercises, I learned bouncing that hard is not necessary. It has ample room to move around on for an adult.
Those are the basics. Now to my experience using this:
Sitting at my desk all day caused weight gain & I was tired all of the time. It was starting to effect my health. Having ADHD, I knew I needed to find something to add movement to my days that I would enjoy so I could stick with it. In researching options, I found so much emphasizing the benefits of rebounding over other things like treadmills, walking pads, stationary bikes, etc.
I set this up at my sit/stand desk. I figured I would switch it out between using my wobble stool, regular desk chair, ball chair & standing. I have not moved it at all since first using it. I have not sat down while working.
Standing on it is more comfortable than standing on the ground on my feet, hips, back & knees. Due to the movement of balancing myself even when simply standing I am actively using muscles. However, I don't find myself simply standing much. I end up at least lightly bouncing.
This is SO FUN to use! I work from home, so I just put on music & bounce & dance all day at my desk. I feel more energetic, alert, my body feels better. There is no 2 or 3 pm crash anymore. I need less coffee to keep going. I'm increasing movement & circulation a LOT compared to how sendentary I was prior to getting this. I've lost weight. I find myself smiling for no reason while I'm working. I wake up & am weirdly excited to hop onto this at my desk to start work. My days feel like they go by faster.
This rebounder has improved my life & I'm so glad I got it. It's a really, really fun way to add more movement into your life. I hope this helps anyone on the fence.
**UPDATE: It is now January 2024. I bought this August 2023. I am on this rebounder 8-10 hrs 5 days a week. It shows no signs of strain. It's as supportive, bouncy and quiet as the day I received it. I have only sat for 2 weeks during this time- when I had Covid. It felt great to get back on when I felt better. It's so fun, I still want to pull it away from my desk and follow YouTube routines on the weekend or take it to the yard to bounce around in the sunshine. I use it for jumping jacks and crunches. It's great for doing squats and while squatting you can hold the frame while leaning back for a great deep spinal stretch. This is probably the best purchase I have made in a long time.
